YOU
BELONG TO ME (1998) |
Sub-category: Murder/detective
The plot:
Dr. Susan Chandler, a former District Attorney, and
present Psychologist and radio talk show host, is intrigued
by a caller. On her show, she has Dr. Donald Richardson, an
author who has compiled a book about women who mysteriously
disappear, usually under murderous circumstances. Chandler
mentions one of her favourite disappearances, that of Regina
Clausen. A mystery caller says they may have a clue, but before
Chandler can receive it, the caller is involved in run over
by a van. Suddenly, every time Chandler receives a clue, someone
is killed and she may be next...
Comment:
Higgins Clark sets a brisk pace from the start and keeps you
trapped as the murder always seems to be one step ahead of
Chandler. Higgins Clark keeps you guessing as to the identity
of the killer right up to the cliffhanger ending - even though
you may have it narrowed down to a few people.
