DANIELLE STEEL

 |
THE
GHOST (1997) |
Sub-category:
Romance
The plot: Architect Charles
Waterson's life suddenly collapses around him as his wife
walks out on him. Devastated, he eventually takes time off
work and ends up in stranded in a small town in Massachusetts.
In this town, a chance friendship and a mystery set him on
the path to healing.
Comment: If a first time
novelist had tried to get this published, they would have
been laughed off the premises! For an accomplished author
like Danielle Steel, this book is horrible and amateurish.
The story is full of cliches, and terribly written. An appalling
offering from a woman who generally produces an enjoyable
light romance novel.
