After the tragic death of their father, Peter (Chris

them together 3 years later in the Himalaya's where Annie

at a place from his new airline as it flies overhead. However,
Vaughn's determination to be there to wave threatens the
expedition when a sudden storm sweeps in and sets off an

survive - at the bottom of a crevasse. When Peter, back
at base camp, finds out they are alive, he immediately gets

Comment:
Well, I really hope most watching this don't have
much in the way of mountain experience - especially at high
altitude... Unfortunately, I do and this movie was absolutely
riddled with flaws which kind of destroyed the flimsy plot
for me. Chris O'Donnell was also very weak as a leading
'mountain man' in this film which also jarred with what
most mountaineers are like. Fortunately, the Australians
in the film made up for that! However, for a flawed film
script, the movie was packed with lots of action and some
truly stomach-turning special effects as all the cast members
get their chance to dangle off a precipice hanging only
by a cord wrapped around their wrist... And never fear,
Bill Paxton manages to deliver one line so cheesily that
it kept but help keep alive the tradition he has in each
movie for saying one thing that ensure everyone will roll
their eyes - Rock on!
